Esports Social Observatory (ESO)
The Esports Social Observatory (ESO) is the cornerstone of ENHANCE's sustainability and long-term impact strategy. It is envisioned as a permanent digital infrastructure and participatory forum that will engage young gamers, educators, researchers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers.

Key components include:
- A publicly accessible platform where players and families can access training materials, engage in discussions, and report toxic or inclusive gaming experiences.
- A "toxicity index" dashboard that tracks behaviour trends and offers regional comparisons.
- Forums and discussion spaces for co-designing interventions and sharing best practices among local clubs, schools, and eSports federations.
- Direct engagement with game publishers and developers to inform industry codes of conduct.
-
Integration with
Twitch,
Discord, and
YouTube to reach young users where they already are.
ESO will offer coaching resources, multilingual toolkits, regular data updates, and a space for innovation and policy engagement in the eSports sector.
It is designed not just as a project output, but as a lasting European reference point for equity and inclusion in gaming.
